Gold price goes up in Pakistan

KARACHI: On Thursday, the domestic market saw a surge in the per tola rate of 24 karat gold, marking an increase of Rs200.

The All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported a corresponding rise of Rs200 in the price for 10 grams of 24 karat gold, reaching Rs216,300.

Furthermore, both per tola and 10-gram silver prices witnessed a gain of Rs171, reaching Rs185,442.

Separately, the value of the US dollar against the Pakistani rupee continues to decline.

According to the statistics issued by the State Bank of Pakistan, the dollar further depreciated by 2 paisa against the local currency in the interbank market on Thursday.
