ISLAMABAD: With the general election in the country set for February 8, 2024, citizens are curious about the weather forecast, particularly regarding the possibility of rain tomorrow.

Rain on election day could potentially create difficulties for citizens looking to cast their votes.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), no rainfall is forecasted for any area of Pakistan on election day, Thursday, February 8th.

“Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while very cold in upper parts.Cold winds are likely in upper Punjab. Shallow fog may likely to occur at isolated places in northeast Punjab during morning hours,” read the Thursday’s weather forecast by PMD.

Cold and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country. However, rain occurred at isolated places in south Punjab, northeast Balochistan and Thatha. Shallow fog prevailed over few plain areas of northeast Punjab.
