London:  Farah Gogi, a trusted friend and confidonte of the former first lady, is likely to become a key witness against both Bushra Bibi and PTI chairman.

Geo News quoting sources reveal that Farah Gogi has been cooperating with Pakistani authorities for approximately a month, during which she has shared significant information. A working relationship has also been established with the authorities. However, the PTI leadership has reportedly advised Farah and her husband Ahsan Jameel Gujjar not to cooperate with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and other legal forums.

It has come to light that Farah Gogi was asked to leave the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in early May after the Pakistani government informed the Gulf state about her involvement in corruption during her stay in Dubai. Consequently, she has been blacklisted, barring her from legally reentering the UAE due to the ongoing cases against her. Subsequently, she traveled to Italy and has been actively engaging with Pakistani authorities, leading to significant progress in their investigations.

Farah Gogi, also known as Farhat Shahzadi, Farah Khan, Farah Gujjar, and several other aliases, left Pakistan immediately after the successful no-confidence vote against the former PM’s government. Speculations were already rampant that she would face arrest and investigation for her association with Bushra Bibi and her alleged direct involvement in government affairs, prompting her hasty departure.

In related developments, victims of a housing society have lodged complaints against Farah Gogi, and anti-corruption officials claim to possess evidence of corruption funds reaching her. Additionally, a case involving fraud, manipulation, and corruption has been filed against Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi, and Farah Gogi.
