He expressed his unwavering commitment to the PTI and emphasized that his loyalty to the party remains resolute.

“Regrettably, my advice was not heeded”, Elahi lamented.

He underscored the unprecedented respect he has garnered within the PTI and affirmed his steadfast dedication to the party.

“ I cannot even think of leaving the PTI” , Elahi said.

As discussions surrounding the new caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar arose, he highlighted Kakar’s affiliations with various political parties, including his past candidacy on the PML-Q ticket.

Elahi emphasized that the government’s only viable course of action is to conduct elections, as failure to do so could lead to a loss of support from the IMF.

Responding to inquiries, Elahi expressed his optimism despite the challenging circumstances, assuring that these trying times shall pass.

He also mentioned a visit from Chaudhry Shujaat, who came to inquire about his well-being.
