Charsi Tikka owner re-arrested for obscene behaviour

PESHAWAR: The owner of Peshawar’s renowned Charsi Tikka in Namkamandi, Nisar Khan ‘Charsi’ has been once again arrested on accusations of engaging in inappropriate behavior.

According to SSP City Tayyab Jan, the police received complaints after a video of the restaurant owner went viral in which Nisar was seen behaving inappropriately. 

A case has been filed against the accused by some locals and he has been remanded in custody, he said.

Peshawar’s ‘Charsi Tikka’ owner arrested for harassing foreign tourists

Nisar was previously arrested on September 21 when his video with a foreign national’s women had spread on social media that showed him acting unsuitably towards foreign tourists.

A copy of the FIR said that locals had complained that Nisar was involved in ‘obscene acts’ in front of his restaurant, often with foreign women.
