Anti-corruption watchdog releases assets details of Farah Gogi, husband

LAHORE – The Punjab Anti-Corruption Department has disclosed the comprehensive asset information of Farhat Shahzadi, also known as Farah Gogi, and her spouse Ahsan Jameel Gujjar.

According to the Punjab Anti-Corruption Department’s findings, Farhat Shahzadi, a close associate of the former first lady, and Ahsan Jameel Gujjar possess a total of 14 plots in Bahawalpur and Gujranwala.

In Bahawalpur, Farhat holds ownership of plots measuring 14, 12, 8, 3, and 2 kanals, while the couple has acquired six plots in Gujranwala.

The Punjab Anti-Corruption Department has alleged that these properties were acquired using funds obtained through corrupt means, as revealed in the investigation of land records.

Simultaneously, Farhat Shahzadi and her husband are currently under investigation by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). According to NAB, the investigation into money laundering and assets obtained from undisclosed sources of income uncovered a total of 117 bank accounts, including four foreign accounts, belonging to Farhat and her spouse.

In a press release, the anti-corruption agency stated, “A substantial sum of Rs847 million has been identified in Farah’s account over the last three years, a figure inconsistent with her declared financial profile.”
